Since the very first day of NORD HMS, our goal has been to find the most effective methods to maximize the value our participants receive during training.
As members of the Norwegian Organization for Security Competence (NOORSI), we can assure the high quality of our training and the recognition of our certificates across Norway.
Our NOORSI-certified instructor is Lithuanian, providing a seamless learning experience for our participants. They can comfortably engage in the training, ask questions, and discuss topics in their native language. This direct communication eliminates the need for translators which in turn eliminates the risk of misunderstandings.
Our online courses provide a convenient solution for those who are in a rush, on the move, or simply prefer to learn at a time and pace that suits them best.

HMS course for managers
Under Norwegian law, company managers are required to undergo training on systematic health, working environment, and safety measures, as outlined in AML, Chapters 3-5.
This course is designed to provide managers with a thorough understanding of their roles in maintaining a safe working environment. Based on the recommendations of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet), our program ensures compliance with the law and enhances managerial competence in this critical area.
All the necessary study materials and the test are provided in Lithuanian, making the course accessible and relevant.
Scaffolding Course
Under Norwegian law, workers who engage with scaffolding, either by working or walking on it, must complete the appropriate training and obtain a certificate as confirmation.
Installation of scaffolding at a height of 2-5 meters
Under Norwegian law, workers engaged in the installation or dismantling of scaffolding at heights up to 5 meters must have a Norwegian scaffolding certificate. This certificate confirms that the employee has undergone a specific training program tailored to Norwegian regulations, comprising 7.5 hours of theoretical instruction and 7.5 hours of practical training, led by a Norway-certified instructor.
We provide this training, and to those who successfully complete the course, we issue a qualification certificate. This certificate is valid throughout Norway for an unlimited period. Without it, the Labor Inspectorate has the authority to fine the employer 50,000 kr and halt the ongoing work.
Installation of scaffolding at a height of 5-9 meters
Under Norwegian law, workers who install or dismantle scaffolding at heights up to 9 meters must have a specific Norwegian scaffolding certificate. This certificate verifies that the employee has completed a specialized training program, in accordance with Norwegian standards, consisting of 15 hours of theoretical and 15 hours of practical training with an instructor certified in Norway.
Upon successful completion of the course, we issue a qualification certificate, recognized throughout Norway, and valid for an unlimited period. Failure to have this certificate can lead to serious consequences; the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority can impose a fine of 50,000 kr on the employer and halt the work in progress.
Installation of scaffolding at a height of over 9 meters
According to Norwegian law, workers tasked with installing or dismantling scaffolding at heights greater than 9 meters must possess a Norwegian scaffolding certificate. This certification ensures that the employee has the required competence, having completed a training program specifically adapted to Norwegian standards. The program consists of 36 hours of theoretical training and 72 hours of hands-on practical training, conducted by an instructor certified in Norway.
For those who successfully complete the course, we issue a qualification certificate that is valid throughout Norway for an unlimited duration. It's vital to have this certificate, as working without it can lead to a fine of 50,000 kr from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority, along with an immediate stoppage of the work in progress.
Working at heights & fall protection training
In Norway, all workers who climb higher than 2 meters without additional protection (such as a guardrail to prevent falling to a lower level) must have a Norwegian certificate for working at heights and fall protection.
Please note that the training requirements are changing this year. However, as members of the Norwegian Instructors Association, we are already informed about the planned requirements. We offer training according to the updated 2023 program, ensuring that participants won't have to retake the course later.
Failure to have this certificate can lead to serious repercussions. The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority can impose a fine of 50,000 kr on the employer and halt the work in progress.
Safe use of elevators & personal lifts (Category A, B)
In Norway, anyone wishing to operate automatic lifts or elevators must attend courses that are specifically tailored to Norwegian standards. Additionally, they must obtain a certificate as proof of completing these courses.
We offer training programs that comply with all legal acts and requirements, ensuring that you will not encounter any unexpected issues while working in Norway. By enrolling in our courses, you gain the necessary knowledge and certification to operate elevators and personal lifts safely and in compliance with the law.
Signaling & slinging
Operating cranes is classified as hazardous work in Norway. To prevent accidents and mishaps, only workers with the appropriate theoretical and practical knowledge are allowed to engage in these tasks.
Our specialized courses cover all aspects of signaling and slinging, including how to attach loads (slinging) and correctly signal to the crane operator. Upon completion, you will be given a certificate that is recognized in Norway, affirming your ability to carry out these responsibilities.
Safe use of dangerous tools
In Norway, working with hazardous electronic tools requires specialized training and certification. According to the law, anyone who operates potentially dangerous tools must complete relevant courses and obtain a certificate to prove their competence.
We offer comprehensive training programs that align with Norwegian regulations, ensuring that you or your team are fully equipped to handle these tools safely and effectively.
Safe use of diisocyanates
Diisocyanates, a component found in certain polyurethane products like some adhesives, installation foams, and sealing (macroflex) foams, require specialized handling. In Norway, companies that use products containing more than 0.1% diisocyanates must provide their employees with specialized training.
This requirement is not only applicable to construction companies but also extends to those in the cleaning sector, as it encompasses the disposal of materials containing diisocyanates.
We offer comprehensive training, tailored to these specific needs, with all necessary study materials and tests provided in Lithuanian. By participating in our courses, you ensure compliance with regulations and equip yourself or your team with the essential knowledge to handle diisocyanates safely and responsibly.
